We are excited to share about this family business of our friend/client, Kevin Dunn. We obviously love family businesses, and are always wanting to highlight those that go above and beyond for their clients. Cartronics does exactly that. Here’s our Q&A with their team!
1) What is your background and how did you start CarTronics?
In 1982, after graduating from MTSU with a degree in recording industry management, Kevin opened a business named Car Security Center exclusively installing alarms in vehicles in a small building downtown on the corner of North 1st Ave and Cowan St. When client after client requested improvements to their sound systems, he decided to move into a larger space in Madison, where the existing Rivergate location still resides and changed the name to Cartronics. 2) What exactly do you offer?
From all the options you wish would have come standard with your car, to completely altering your interior/exterior, to personally designing a sound system that will sound like you are personally front row- we are truly everything to customize your ride.
3) What sets your business apart?
We are efficient & effective with the best employees in the business to get your project done in a timely manner with all the best brands available.
4) Is there anything you want potential clients to know?
We are family owned & operated. Kevin, 2 of his sons and their wives all participating roles in CarTronics daily success along with Kevins nephew, Tyler.
5) Any new offerings or developments you are excited about for 2021?
We just opened our 4th store in Murfreesboro and we will be launching our online store this fall.
