Center Hill Lake
This lake is home to 7 public marinas, and Edgar Evins state park, which offers camping, lodging and hiking trails. Other scenic options are Burgess Falls and Fanchers Falls with hiking trails and water access for boaters. There are also a number of public launch sites around the lake for day use boaters. Most marinas have food service from snacks and sandwiches to nice casual dining. July 4th is a great time to be at Center Hill, as many marinas do a fireworks display. Tent camping is available at numerous locations on the lake and lodging as well through AirBNB.

The new owner also owns Pates Ford Marina at the headwaters of the lake. Sligo is located east of Smithville on the Sparta Hwy. The owner is also the owner of Tootsie’s along with several other popular eateries in Downtown Nashville.

The Coppertop at Center Hill Marina
The Coppertop floating restaurant is open on a seasonal basis; primarily on weekends from mid-May — Labor Day. Our guests are offered their choice of inside seating or outside seating on our open picnic deck. We welcome large groups, although reservations are requested for groups of 8 or more.
